Growing Organic Revenue for an Art Ecommerce Store in the UAE and GCC
SEO programme for an online art store across the UAE and GCC: technical foundations, collection-page optimisation and content that ranks for buying-intent queries.
Art ecommerce, UAE and GCC · run personally by Hasnain Jameel

The situation
What was actually going wrong
The store had good products and no organic visibility. Product pages carried manufacturer-style descriptions, category structure did not match how regional buyers searched, and the site had almost no authority signals in its own market.
The work
What I changed
Keyword mapping built for the region, not the language
Search behaviour across the UAE and wider GCC was mapped to actual category and product pages, including the terms buyers use locally rather than the ones the brand used internally.
Product and category pages rewritten to earn rankings
Thin descriptions were replaced with content that answered the questions buyers ask before purchasing art online: sizing, framing, shipping across the GCC and authenticity.
Technical foundations fixed
Crawl issues, duplicate parameter URLs and slow templates were addressed so the pages that mattered could actually be indexed and served quickly.
Regional authority built deliberately
Links and citations were pursued within the region rather than chasing global metrics, because relevance in-market moves rankings faster than raw domain authority.
The outcome
What it produced
Ecommerce SEO is usually won on category and product pages, not on the blog. Most stores invest in the opposite order.

Questions about this work
Technical fixes can show within weeks. Category and product ranking improvements typically compound over three to six months depending on competition.
Only after the money pages are optimised. A blog supporting well-built category pages compounds; a blog compensating for weak category pages does not.
In GCC markets, often yes. In-market relevance and local citations frequently outperform higher-authority but geographically irrelevant links.
