This policy explains what personal data hasnainjameel.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by Hasnain Jameel, an independent digital marketing consultant based in Dubai, UAE, working with businesses in the UAE, the UK and the US. I do not sell personal data, and I do not use your enquiry for anything other than replying and working with you.
Legal basis
- Enquiries: taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and my legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.
- Analytics cookies: your consent for visitors in the UK, the EU and Switzerland; legitimate interest elsewhere. You can change your choice at any time.
- Legal obligations: keeping records where the law requires it.
For visitors in the UAE, data is handled in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). For visitors in the UK and EU, it is handled in line with UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and PECR.

Analytics only sets cookies after you accept them (UK, EU and Switzerland), or by default elsewhere. Without consent, Google Analytics receives only cookieless signals.

Who processes data
- Hostinger hosts the website and its content delivery network.
- Google provides Google Analytics (site statistics) and the Gemini API, which writes the AI tool outputs from the text you enter. Do not type personal or confidential information into the AI tools.
- Meta (WhatsApp) if you choose to message me on WhatsApp.
- Email providers deliver enquiry notifications to my business inbox.
Some of these providers process data outside the UAE, the UK or the EU. Where that happens they use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together, in which case for the length of the engagement plus any period the law requires.
- Analytics data: for the retention period set in Google Analytics (no longer than 14 months for detailed data).
- AI tool inputs: not stored on this site after the output is shown; Google processes them under its Gemini API terms.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@hasnainjameel.com and I will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), your local EU data protection authority, or the UAE Data Office.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, access to enquiries is limited to me, and admin access is protected. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
